there are two variations – articulating & straight. The articulating model is more popular. The boom lifts are powered by either diesel or electric(battery). This is also an important distinction as certain projects only allow electric booms as these are cleaner (in terms of soil/dirt) and also less polluting.
BL can be articulating diesel, articulating electric, straight diesel or straight electric but it is not common practice to write it this way even though it is how we say it. Below is one of the ways where the flow of information can be presented.
